Considering Comfort

Walking through the mall especially throughout the winter season, I see a plethora of cranky and/or crying children. While the moms or dads have shed their hats, scarves, and coats, there sits their precious bundle in the stroller complaining away. When I say their precious bundle that truly is the case for there is a bundle. Either in the stroller or being held by the hand, their child is still bundled up with a hat, scarf, and coat done up to their neck. Remember, once inside they need to remove outer wear to make their precious bundle comfortable and happy. After all, the parent adjusted to the inside temperature but perhaps didn’t think that their child might want or need the same. A happy child means happy shopping for daddy and/or mommy!

Live vs. Death — Your Choice

John 10:10-11 (NKJV)
10 The theif does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for his sheep”

The devil comes to Steal, Kill, and Destroy, but JESUS comes to give abundant life! These two verses show a very strong contrast — Life vs. Death — Which one will you choose!

Where do you stand?

How often do you ask yourself this question? If you haven’t in a while, maybe it’s time you did. I’m continually trying to force myself to change for the better. I want to be more Christ -like in every area of my life… even if we’re talking about what I eat.
